Step 1: CONNECT WITH ME (YOUR AGENT)

  • Let's connect and talk about your Real Estate goals and dreams.
  • I can help you outline the steps needed to achieve them and guide you every step of the way. If you are looking to purchase outside of southern CA, great news- I have connections across the map, I can introduce you to an agent in the area you are looking to buy!
  • We will talk about things like: Where do you want to buy? What type of home (single family, condo, townhome?) What features are most important to you?
  • We will discuss what interests you and I will provide valuable insight into housing trends in specific neighborhoods.

Step 2: FINANCES

  • Find a great lender and speak to a few! (I have a few great recommendations if needed)
  • Gather your documents
  • Obtain pre-approval or proof of funds
  • Locate down payment funds
  • Prepare for any additional costs
  • Based on your pre-approval, decide on your budget and what you feel comfortable spending.

Step 3: HOME SEARCH

  • Now that we are clear on the key criteria you have identified as important, the price window you are qualified for and the neighborhoods you like I will set up a custom home search tailored to fit your exact needs. 
  • I offer both direct notification from the MLS and exclusive access to the Compass App where I will create a tailored Collection of homes for you to view that are both on and off market. It's like a Pinterest board of homes that is curated for your needs and notifies you immediately when a home hits the market in your criteria. It's also a great way to communicate with me on specific homes you like, and want to see. I can also communicate with you and point out neighborhood features and insight to help you navigate the process.
  • We tour homes until you find the perfect match

Step 4: UNDER CONTRACT

  • Write an offer to purchase your favorite property
  • Navigate the terms of the offer and get your offer accepted
  • Deposit earnest money once accepted, complete the loan application and homeowners insurance quotes

Step 5: DUE DILIGENCE

  • Conduct inspections and review disclosures
  • Resolve and negotiate any issues from inspection
  • Appraisal done by lender
  • Obtain homeowners insurance

Step 6: CLOSING

  • Receive closing statement and clear to close
  • Wire funds to closing company
  • Conduct a final walk through inspection of the property and close
  • Title company will conduct title search and order survey
  • Closing day: get your keys and cue the celebration!
